Full_Name: Surendra Nath Borah Submission from: (NULL) (61.2.177.144) Respected XMM help desk members, I need the following clearification. i) I am using SASv7.00 in a dsktop with RH 9. Because of machine releted problem, I recently acquired one HP Pavilion dv6226 model laptop (inbuilt Win Vista Home premium). After proper procedure I tried to install RH9/FC3/4/5 respectevly, but failed. FC 6 is fully installed without any restriction. ii) I downloaded SASv7.00 for FC3, which is tested for FC4 and FC5 (as you have mentioned in download page). Please tell me,if this version of SASv7.00 will run in FC 6.Is there any way to run in my machine ? Otherwise I have to use my old desktop, which is very slow. Regards, Yours sincerely, SN Borah,D.K.D College,Dergaon, Assam, India.

Dear Dr. Borah, I am sorry for the delay in replying to you, I was waiting to be able to give a more concrete answer. For the moment what we can say is that SASv7.00 is expected to run without problems in Fedora core 6, but SAS developers are still testing it. Therefore our recommendation is that you install SASv7.00 in your new machine, we expect that you will have no problem, but please report them to us if you encounter any.
