Subject: Science Workshop update
Dear Participant,

We are now only two weeks away from the Science Workshop "Variable
and Broad Iron Lines around Black Holes". We have roughly 60
registered participants. The programme looks very promising and we
have all reason to believe that the meeting could result in
interesting and active discussion in several areas.

This mail contains a number of important practical informations and
is supposed to be the final announcement.

The conference web site has been updated and will always show
latest information, so please check by:
http://xmm.esac.esa.int/external/xmm_science/workshops/2006_science/

1. There is practical info on how to get to ESAC.
http://xmm.esac.esa.int/external/xmm_user_support/contact/esac_directions.shtml

NOTE: Participants that asked for the shuttle bus between ESAC and
El Escorial, PLEASE CONFIRM (via reply to this e-mail) that you
still wish to keep your booking. In addition, please indicate if
you need a seat on the bus already on Monday morning and if you
need to return to El Escorial after the closure of the meeting on
Wednesday midday. This information is crucial for us to book the
bus. We will need to get your reply BEFORE FRIDAY, JUNE 16th.
Many thanks in advance for your co-operation.
Further info on the shuttle bus is available at
http://xmm.esac.esa.int/external/xmm_science/workshops/2006_science/locale.shtml

2. There are some guidelines for presenters of talks or posters.
http://xmm.esac.esa.int/external/xmm_science/workshops/2006_science/presenters.shtml

3. The abstract booklet is available at:
http://xmm.esac.esa.int/external/xmm_science/workshops/2006_science/ws2006_abstracts.pdf

4. The near-final programme is at:
http://xmm.esac.esa.int/external/xmm_science/workshops/2006_science/programme.shtml

5. The provisional list of posters is at:
http://xmm.esac.esa.int/external/xmm_science/workshops/2006_science/ws2006_posters.pdf

6. Your conference folder (that you will receive when registering at
ESAC) will contain latest versions of all of these documents.

7. Participants should be aware of the fact that Spanish
restaurants usually open for dinner after 9 pm.

8. The Conference Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, June 27th, and
will take place in a restaurant in El Escorial starting at 9 pm.

NOTE: Participants interested in joining us for the Conference
Dinner should LET US KNOW (via reply to this e-mail) if they and
any accompanying persons wish to participate BEFORE FRIDAY,
JUNE 16th. Please, also indicate your preference for the menu,
i.e. if you like fish, meat or a vegetarian dish. The price for
the menu will be 45 Euros and the exact amount needs to be paid
in cash when registering at ESAC.

We look very much forward to seeing you!!
