Problems on MacOs versions with tasks not finishing due to kill signals from system

An observer has reported problems with two different tasks (epatplot and rmfgen) being terminated through system kill signals on the MacOs SAS 8.0.0 (or 8.0.1) version. Reported on a Tiger PPC platform, the problem could be fully reproduced under Leopard on an Intel machine, so it is affecting generally the MacOs platforms. The problem is under investigation.
