SAS watchout page

My SAS seems not to recognize my Red Hat Perl version. Is there something I can do to tame it?

Some of the SAS tasks interact with Perl. This means that the version of Perl on your system must be binary compatible with the one used to build the SAS. On Linux we use the natural default Perl version, which for Red Hat 7.1 is 5.6.0. If, running a SAS task, you get an error like the following:

Perl lib version (v5.6.1) doesn't match executable version (v5.6.0) at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i386-linux/Config.pm line 21.

you Red Hat Perl version is probably the wrong one.

Should this occur to you (Oh, brother! Why me again?), please contact the XMM-Newton HelpDesk, and we will try and provide you with the solution, which best fits your needs.
