Why do I need to update ESAS CalDB?

All the MOS Filter Wheel Closed calibration files, present in ESAS CalDB, and used by the ESAS (Extended Source Analysis Software) package inside SAS have been updated to resolve an error where the backscale keyword was not calculated correctly. They are available as of May 23, 2011, under ftp://xmm.esac.esa.int/pub/ccf/constituents/extras/esas_caldb/. The files to be updated are 4: mos[1][2]-[fwc][fwc-anom].fits.gz
