Defects in TCX files by data taken between Oct.2007 and July 2008
Time correlation (TCX) files in the ODFs currently stored in
the XSA and with observation date ranging from October 10, 2007 to July 9, 2008 are affected by a computational error,
which may induce errors as large as 500 microseconds on the absolute timing. Regeneration of the correct ODFs is ongoing.
The normally less accurate Time Correlation Standard files (TCS) can be used by setting
the SAS environment variable SAS_TIMECORR to TCS (eg. "setenv SAS_TIMECORR
TCS" if using [t]csh), to circumvent the problem. However, the best accuracy in
absolute timing will be first reached once the affected ODFs are regenerated.
