To install this patch you must download the following twelve (12) tgz archives:
For first download of SAS 7.1.0 these archives are placed together with the rest of the files which are specific for each supported Operating System, including the package with the eexpmap-4.2 patch. To proceed to first download of SAS 7.1.0 please click here.
For those who have already downloaded SAS 7.1.0, on this link, you can find for each supported Operating System, a subdirectory with the twelve (12) tgz patch archives, including the eexpmap-patch-4.2.tgz archive.
Once you have downloaded all these packages, please unpack them within the respective SAS 7.1.0 main installation directory, namely:
Once unpacked, the respective binaries, libraries, config and doc files are replaced by the patched components.
For first SAS 7.1.0 downloads, the unpacking order is crucial. In such a case you must proceed as follows:
Doing it in a different order will mess up your SAS 7.1.0 installation.
To check that the patched tasks are working properly, please run quickly the following test for any of them. Before doing the test remember to initialize SAS 7.1.0.
For example, for package epicproc-2.9.18, do it as follows:
epproc --version
emproc --version
The output must be:
epproc (epicproc-2.9.18) []
emproc (epicproc-2.9.18) []
