epproc and emproc have been considerably refurbished in SAS 6.5:
can I use my old
scripts including calls to these metatasks?
Yes.
epproc and emproc have been upgraded in SAS 6.5 in order to be aligned with
epchain and emchain respectively. This upgrade does not mean that the
"procs" products are the same than the "chain" products, but it means that the
sub-tasks (including default parameters) called by the applications are the
same.
One important change introduced in both epproc and emproc is the way
they call the attcalc application.
attcalc is called now with the parameter "refpointlabel = pnt"
instead of "refpointlabel = object", which was the old default value in
previous SAS versions.
